Cleaning and drying: Clean and dry your dentures before applying the adhesive cream. Keep the nozzle and cap dry to prevent clogging. If it becomes clogged, use a needle. Apply the adhesive cream in thin strips or in small amounts. You may need to experiment a few times before finding the ideal amount. The maximum size of each strip should not exceed 4×17 mm. Insert the denture and hold it in place for 5 seconds. If the cream oozes out from the sides of your denture, it means you’re using too much. Place a towel in your sink to prevent your dentures from breaking if you drop them. Then gargle with warm water for one minute to loosen the dentures. Remove your dentures with a gentle rocking motion. For partial dentures, push on the metal clasps. Fixodent holds firmly but is easy to remove.
