Cavaillès

The Rogé Cavaillès story began in 1855, when Prosper Cavaillès bought M. Rogé’s pharmacy at 116 Bd Haussman in Paris, and decided to rename it Pharmacie Rogé-Cavaillès. The pharmacy was already renowned for its preparations for sensitive skin. In 1904, Mr. Lachartre bought the pharmacy. But the real adventure began in 1924 with the creation of surgras bread. For the first time, M. Lachartre, a pharmacist, combined superfatting ingredients and cleansing agents in a bread. The result was a veritable best-seller, and the “Rogé Cavaillès” brand. The 70s saw the creation of surgras liquid bath and shower gels.
