Garancia
The Garancia brand dates back to 1908. Pharmacist Pierre Girault offered plant-based cosmetics from his pharmacy in Marseille. A few generations of pharmacists later, Savéria Coste, the founder’s great-granddaughter, gave the brand a name: Garancia, inspired by the Garance plant. The roots of this plant were ground to extract a bright-red dye. The secret formula was jealously guarded by the royal courts for dyeing silks. Garancia therefore combines traditional botanical active ingredients with new technologies to create “magical” skincare products. The products are paraben-free. The textures are astonishing, evocative of dreams and emotions. The formulas are healthy and inspired by nature and science. That’s why, according to the brand’s creator, the creams “speak to our skin and our emotions”.
